Here’s my plea (which I’m sure won’t go very far) to Yahoo not to buy Tumblr. I just finished migrating to Tumblr from Posterous another blogging service that was bought by Twitter. Twitter shut it down. I don’t blog much… but when I do I use Tumblr! :) C’mon Yahoo…. go find something else to buy!

Question to Lady in hideous tank top : What has Joakim Noah done that has incensed you so much that you feel the need to get in his face and scream expletives as he walks by?
We are a classless society. By no means am I an advocate of yesteryear, but can you possibly imagine a woman from the 50’s ,40’s, 30’s or earlier ever doing something like this? …. I don’t want to see poodle skirts, girdles, one piece bathings suits, aprons or hair nets make a comeback… but c’mon lady have some class. If this lady does have children, I hope they never discover the this thing called the internet to see their “Mom” saying hello to Joakim Noah.
If you need contracts frequently and can’t afford an attorney… you should definitely check out Rocket Lawyer… I used the service, but just don’t have the need for that many contracts. However, if my business warrants more contracts in the future I will DEFINITELY be using RocketLawyer because of this response to my customer inquiry.
I apologize for the frustrating experience you’ve had. It appears as though our system made this a very confusing process and I am sorry for that.
We tried to charge your card on 10/31 for your monthly membership and it didn’t successfully process. Our system was setup to try 3 more times over the ensuing few days (on 11/1, 11/2, and 11/4). While the system was trying to charge your card, it removed access to paid membership features and set the account to a Free membership status. Yesterday, your card was successfully charged, so now your account appears as a Paid Membership once again.
Even as I type this, I’m working with our Product team to change the language displayed to customers in similar situations so that we more accurately indicate the present status.
Sorry for the experience you had but thank you for taking the time to provide feedback that we’ll use to build a better process.
What I’ve done is cancelled your account and removed your credit card from the system and have refunded your last 2 charges. I’ve also enabled your account to continue to use the site with full access for the rest of November in case there are any other documents you need to make in the meantime.
